Àtiz Fashion House LLC is a luxury brand of womenswear for those seeking to encounter a classic style in beautiful new ways. The merging of Eastern tradition and Western innovation to revolutionize the world of fashion is the vision of founder and designer, Swati Padmaraj. Striking textiles and bold colors inspired from her Indian homeland combined with classic silhouettes of Western daywear create stunning and modern designs for the international woman who is ready to travel the world.
Padmaraj holds two Masters’ degrees in inorganic chemistry and business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology. These disciplines inspire the details that create a Àtiz design and paired with Padmaraj’s born creativity, build a collection that is bold, luxurious, refined, and crafted to perfection.
“I love fabric and, more importantly, how the fabric feels against the skin. My background in inorganic chemistry helps me know how certain fabrics will accept saturation of color without compromising the integrity,” shares Padmaraj when discussing how her education ties into the vision of her brand.
Àtiz Spring-Summer 2015 collection was selected to showcase in leading fashion weeks such as LA Fashion Week, Vancouver Fashion Week, Portland Fashion Week and Phoenix Fashion Week. The same 2015 collection was also featured in the September 2014 issue of the British Vogue.
The Àtiz brand has expanded globally with the introduction of its summer 2016 line in India via prominent Indian web sales channels like Amazon India, Myntra, Jabong and others. Àtiz has also established a business relationship with a reputed factory in China to manufacture its line. This factory is known for its high quality and capacity to scale.
The 2016 Global Collection contains 12 styles that are catered to the global market. Specifically, these styles value versatility and comfort of the corporate woman by focusing on trendy yet timeless business casual designs. The styles include sheath dresses, frocks, skirts, and blouses. For her global collection, Padmaraj has catered to the South Asian woman by creating her designs to fit the body type.
Creating a global presence in the industry has been a goal for Padmaraj since she founded Àtiz in 2011. Padmaraj sees herself as a global citizen; therefore providing her line to the global market represents an extension of herself. Through her brand and this launch, Padmaraj hopes to inspire many aspiring, young and talented designers to follow their dreams, no matter the obstacles, just as she had as a young girl in India and just as she continues to do today.
